In the spotlight today: Dirk Warsinsky

Dirk is our Shipping Team Leader and ensures that all orders are processed efficiently and on time. He also oversees the shipping processes and continuously works to optimize workflows.

1. What are your hobbies?

My wife and I love traveling to distant countries – especially Southeast Asia – but we’re also drawn to European cities and metropolises. We believe every city has its own unique character, which makes exploring them always exciting. At the top of our list is definitely Hamburg – a city we love to visit, especially for weekend getaways.

2. Is there something you look forward to at Schuchmann every day?

Yes, absolutely – it’s the working atmosphere and the respectful, friendly way colleagues treat each other. I really enjoy the positive company culture, as well as the ever-changing challenges that come with our daily work.

3. What’s on your desk?

Good question – my desk actually looks quite “neutral”… not many personal items… but my coffee mug is almost always there. I’m also a big fan of the classic “sticky note system” – I like to jot things down to keep track of my daily tasks and to-dos.
