Gifts and games in Osnabrück Zoo’s elephant enclosure
Minh-Tan, the little elephant bull we adopted, ran towards his Christmas presents – squealing with delight. The boxes were filled with pumpkins, carrots and apples for him and his family.

They liked the fruits and vegetables. But also the cardboard boxes made out of cellulose, which they ate, after they had played with them.
