Schuchmann team donates to CKO and KidsCare
There is great joy at the Christliche Kinderhospital Osnabrück (CKO) and KidsCare: We from the Schuchmann team have donated 880 euros from our annual Christmas raffle. The proceeds will be used to build a playground suitable for the disabled. So that the young patients of the CKO and KidsCare can play outside in summer.
The CKO is a specialist clinic for paediatrics and adolescent medicine as well as specialised paediatric urology. Children with serious illnesses or long-term care needs in particular receive professional and loving care here. The KidsCare outpatient care service complements this offering and provides children with disabilities with intensive, individualised care – either at home or in the intensive care residential group in Osnabrück. There they are cared for in a family atmosphere, in rooms that are tailored to their special needs and wishes.
A playground for everyone
Our donation has helped to advance the project of an inclusive playground. ‘Children need to play – regardless of whether they have a disability or not. Our goal is to provide all children at CKO and KidsCare with a fun and safe play experience,’ explains Tino Rauland, Managing Director of KidsCare.
Schuchmann’s employees were very committed to the raffle. The sale of the tickets resulted in the considerable donation of 880 euros. We are pleased that we were able to contribute to bringing joy to the children here with our campaign.
A playground suitable for the disabled means not only fun and distraction for the children who are treated at CKO or cared for by KidsCare, but also a sense of normality. Thanks to the donation, this wish has now come a step closer.
Together for a better future
The CKO and KidsCare rely on donations to realise projects like this playground. If you would like to support this project further, you can contact the children’s hospital or KidsCare directly. Every contribution helps to make the lives of our young patients a little more colourful.
