Innovative cooperation between Swandoo and Schuchmann: Together for inclusive mobility

We are pleased to announce our new partnership with the car seat manufacturer Swandoo. The collaboration is based on a shared vision: to develop products that are not only functional, but also meet the highest standards of safety and aesthetics. We spoke to Swandoo’s product developer, Florian Königswenger, about the new partnership:

1. How did the cooperation between Swandoo and Schuchmann come about?

“The foundation stone of this cooperation was laid through the mediation of a specialist retailer. After an initial meeting, it quickly became clear that a collaboration could be attractive for both sides. We (Swandoo) were able to offer the right basic products that Schuchmann needed to realise their idea of a child car seat suitable for the disabled. This synergy has proven to be extremely fruitful over time.

2. Why is this cooperation between Swandoo and Schuchmann such a good fit?

“Both companies not only have extensive expertise in their respective fields, but also share the same high standards for their products. Both Swandoo and Schuchmann aim to create products that make sense and exceed the current market standard. This shared vision is the key to their successful collaboration.”

3. Why do the swan and the elephant go so well together?

“The swan, the symbol of Swandoo, represents the intense protection that swans offer their young. Something similar can be said about the family and group behaviour of elephants, the symbol of Schuchmann. Both animals embody care and protection, which perfectly reflects the symbolic connection and shared mission of the two companies.”

4. What makes the marie integral. so special?

This understanding of inclusion, which Schuchmann brought to the partnership, is reflected in the design of marie integral.
