REHACARE 2024: Our review of the trade fair days

‘What a great REHACARE 2024! Packed with exciting products, impressive encounters and happy faces.’ This is how the trade fair organisers themselves summed up the course of REHACARE from 25 to 28 September 2024. And we share this impression too!

The anticipation for the trade fair was huge. We couldn’t wait to present our new products in the field of aids at REHACARE. Our new therapy chair maxi. and our redesign of the tina. reclining shell system caused a particular stir. We presented both aids together with the charlie integral. car seat for the first time at our exhibition stand.

All our new products are available from 2025.

The work chair for more independence

The maxi is brand new to our product portfolio. The therapy chair impresses with its stable frame that can support up to 125 kg. The understated design of the work chair ensures a high level of acceptance among young people. This makes maxi. the perfect companion for everyday school life. Thanks to the electric adjustability of height, depth, and seat and back angle, children and young people can independently adjust their optimal sitting position.

Fresh design for tina.

With its fresh design, tina. attracts a lot of attention. The new chassis impresses with its simple design. Thanks to the flexible swivel wheels, tina. can be pushed easily and safely around the house and outside. The optimised lying shell system can be equipped with a vacuum mattress or a positioning mattress. This allows patients to be positioned in the lying shell without pressure or pain. The electric adjustment function allows the height as well as the seat, back and knee angles to be individually adapted to the children and adolescents.

More safety in the car

A new standard for car seats comes into force this year. This is associated with increased safety requirements for child car seats, which has led us to develop two new child car seats. In collaboration with car seat manufacturer swandoo, we have developed marie integral. and charlie integral.. Both child car seats meet the highest safety standards and have been tested and certified according to the new ECE129/03 standard. marie integral. is suitable for children up to 105 cm. It can be adjusted to four resting positions and, thanks to its 360-degree rotation, a gentle transfer is possible. charlie integral. covers children and adolescents from 100 – 150 cm as a big brother. With belts and pads like the pelvic guide pad, children are always optimally supported Both marie integral. and charlie integral. are characterised by their aesthetic and unobtrusive appearance.

Expertise in standing.

In addition to the rifton trike, rifton has developed a new aid for standing. The rifton stander can be used in both a supine position and, with a few accessories, in a prone position As usual with rifton, the standing trainer can be adjusted completely without tools and very intuitively. The thoracic supports can be swivelled for easy transfer. Hip abduction and leg length can be individually adjusted for optimal positioning. To make standing training as varied as possible, the angle of the main column can be adjusted using a gas spring

Lots going on at our trade fair stand

As in previous years, our trade fair stand at REHACARE was a popular port of call in Hall 4 and attracted numerous visitors Stimulating conversations, personal advice and the opportunity to try out our products first hand attracted not only therapists, doctors and parents, but also specialist retailers and other interested parties. Our field service team was available throughout the day and was very committed to answering all questions about our innovative aids. We were particularly pleased with the consistently positive feedback we received from visitors.

In addition, many visitors took the opportunity to delve deeper into our extensive range and find individual solutions for their specific requirements. The great interest and positive response encourage us in our commitment to continue developing and offering high-quality, needs-based aids in the future.

Digital added value with the ‘Supply-App’

We developed Proviko together with the company Kayserbetten. Proviko is an app that supports the creation of ICF-based care concepts. In doing so, it takes into account biomedical as well as social, educational and psychological aspects. The app thus makes a valuable contribution to ensuring that everyone has the best possible chance of receiving the assistive devices they need. This is because the app can be used to create the fitting sheet and the care concept directly and to conveniently transmit them to the funding agency.

Thank you for visiting us in such large numbers at the trade fair. We had a great time.
